Nas palavras do cultivador
Sulcorebutia pulchra is a small, clump-forming cactus native to the highlands of Bolivia’s Chuquisaca Department. Its flattened globular stems are dark olive green and may develop reddish or purplish tones. Mature plants can form dense clusters. The small, narrow areoles bear fine, short spines ranging from yellowish to brown. Its striking flowers vary from pink and crimson to deep magenta, and some have a paler throat. In its natural habitat, the plant grows in rocky, well-drained mountain soils at approximately 3,109 metres above sea level. Field number VZ 159 is associated with Cerro Huayquita, between Romeral and Poroma in Bolivia.
