Kitchen herb windowsill

Fresh flavours all year

On a south or west sill most herbs grow year-round. Mediterranean herbs like it drier, soft herbs moister.

Build

Step by step

  1. 1

Divide supermarket herbs into 3–4 clumps and repot – they’re sown too densely.

  2. 2

Group by needs: dry Mediterraneans apart from moisture-lovers.

  3. 3

Harvest from the top above a leaf pair – it branches out.
